PASS IT ON: The reggae triumvirate, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and Bunny Wailer were collectively known as the WAILERS. Bunny Wailer performed the lead vocals on the song, Pass It On, on the groups historic album, Burnin. It is like so many Wailers song that is a favorite. The song is about sharing, and then I have interpreted the song as to share knowledge. Today, January 27, 2015, I will share a clip of a man that I have never met, but the knowledge that he passed onto others was passed onto me. And I do my best to pass it on too. Bunny Wailer sings, What your hands do it is your own eyes that have seen. So wont you judge your actions to make sure [they are] also clean It is your own conscience that is going to remind you, that it is your heart, and nobody elses that is going to judge. Be not selfish in your doings, pass it on, children....pass it on...pass it on...pass it on. The late Richard Petersen, who was a school teacher and a Vietnam Veteran, taught computer information systems and business to a young man, and that young man became my teacher, mentor, and my friend. Although, this young man, Cedric Andrew Curry, is almost a decade younger than I am; he taught me so many things that the late Mr. Richard Petersen has taught him. I met Cedric in 1998, when I took some computer programming classes at a trade school, Xincon, where he taught. He had already nailed IT certifications in Novell Network, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), and Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) to name a few. It was Mr. Petersen who guided him on his successful path. Cedric, pushed his students really hard, and he instilled the values that he learned from Mr. Petersen into us. I used to leave his class with headaches as I learned to absorb the material. Today, I am versatile in different IT paths, because of Mr. Petersen via Cedric. I have always thought about Mr. Petersen; since Cedric introduced him to us. I beckon you to pass on your knowledge to another generation. https://youtube/watch?v=AvVKHUCleuk
