PASS ON YOUR FLAME UNTIL THE WORLD IS FILLED WITH LIGHT! DEAR FRIENDS- When our hearts have been broken open by suffering- and been redeemed through the power of faith and love - we wake up and see ourselves and other people in a new way. We see that each persons pain is deeply precious and in need of our tenderness and compassion; that every one of us is sacred and deserves to be treated that way; and that every one of our lives is of infinite worth, so vulnerable and holy, and dying for the full measure of courage and love it takes to heal and set ourselves free. If one person reads my words and gets it- keeps going through the pain and despair, never gives up on him/herself, keeps journeying inward to find the love for themselves that frees them from the darkness- then the beauty and meaning of my struggle grows even more. And the same thing is true for the suffering you have faced and healed, the faith you have restored and the love you have redeemed. The act of sharing the healing we have found sends out a wave of love and hope that opens the door for the next person who is struggling and needs to hear it. And so we are all like candles- the flame being passed from one heart, one body, one spirit to the next- until the world is filled with light! LOTS OF LOVE- BRIAN
