PASSOVER, the BLOOD of a LAMB!! As I read the Old Testament, I see different kinds of oblations, ceremonies, and sacrifices offered unto GOD for the forgiveness of sins, and most of the time it required the blood of animals, namely, lambs, rams, bulls, etc. The blood of a lamb was also used to cover the doorposts before the Exodus because when the death angel saw the BLOOD on the doorposts, it passed over; BUT GOD!! what was concealed in the Old Testament is revealed in the New Testament. The sacrificial blood of the lamb, JESUS, in the New Testament typifies the blood in the Old Testament. GOD forgave man of his sins when the blood was offered. It was REQUIRED!! The name LORD in the Old Testament is JESUS concealed, thats right because the lamb symbolized who we would know later as the sacrificial lamb of GOD in the New Testament, but heres the hit: GOD SENT THE DEATH ANGEL!!
