PASSPORT TO PARADISE “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.” (Hebrews 12:14) Every serious Christians nurses the hope of seeing the Lord one day and dwelling with Him eternally. However, the hope of many youths will be dashed because they do not realise that there is a saintly standard set by God for anyone to be qualified to see Him. The standard of God is that you must be holy. Our passage states that we should follow peace with all men; that is still part of the requirement for righteousness and eternal life. Even as a youth, you cannot shy away from the issue of holiness because it is the passport for citizenship in Paradise. The truth of the matter is that even as a youth the Lord expects you to be holy. Holiness is not only for pastors and other ministers; it is for all Christians. To be holy, you must be born again, consecrate your life to God and then pray for the purity of heart. It will help you to love God with all your heart and your neighbours as yourself.
