PASTORS CORNER - September 28, 2014 A Weekly Devotional from Pastor James taken from the Sunday morning bulletin. This weekend, over 40 men have made a tremendous investment in the kingdom of God by attending our Mens Advance! We chose to refer to it as an advance instead of a retreat because we believe that this weekend will cause our men to advance greatly in their spiritual walks. Please pray that the lessons learned over the weekend will stay with our men throughout eternity! It is our hope that they will come back from the mountain with a new excitement to serve God and to step out in faith in ways they have never done before! Paul told the Hebrew church to run a race well as to continue, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2) God bless you, and thank you so much for praying for our men!
