PATH - Lyrical Poem by Me There are few men like me, empathetic and a heart of gold that many hope to keep, On that day I turned and walked astray, where my head you slayed. I had lost my way, lost sight of the beauty of life, the path I laid. Falling for your alluring gaze, began walking down a path I was never meant to tread. now I stay awake at night, wondering, dreaming what if I hadnt lost, What if I didnt fade. The months that passed real friends is what I thought I made, and I was having a blast taking part of this elaborate game. Instead I lost the love that would have kept me ward & fed.. Falling for the lies instead, now insight is my guide and God my best friend without fear I can walk to the edge or possibly the end. Now I know of the day I lost my soul, to someone who I believed was kind & caring, extremely bold. A fool I was loving the wrong one, now I hope that she finds me before I grab my gun; The right one! She was short, classy, with soft lovely lips. That is the true love that I miss, all my heart craves is for her kiss. Believing inside that I had found the one, I leg go because I didnt know how to LOVE. She had an exquisite mind, truly gentle and kind! So love I hope that you one day you find me again, all along you were my true friend. I miss you dearly, from my heart I speak that clearly. I was complete, we could have changed the world! With Gods help nothing is weak, he let go of my hand only to tell me he was with me...
