PATIENT APPLICATION PROCESS: Cleaning For A Reason is committed to providing the gift of a clean home to women 19 years of age or older, who are undergoing treatment for any type of cancer. Our goal is to focus on your home, so you can focus on your health. The foundation was officially formed in May 2006 as a Texas non-profit corporation. We recruit professional cleaning companies that voluntarily clean your home free of charge. We provide services in the United States and Canada. Our cleaning companies take on 2 patients at a time, each of whom receives 1 general house cleaning per month for 4 consecutive months. However, we can’t always guarantee there will be an available cleaning company in your area. Please keep in mind that this is a VOLUNTEER SERVICE for each of our cleaning companies. Please fill out the application in its entirety, so we may begin the process of matching you with a cleaning company. Once you are matched, you will be asked to provide us with a note from your physician confirming you are in treatment. Upon receipt of that note, you will be contacted by the cleaning company to schedule your first cleaning. APPLICATION: cleaningforareason.org/patients
