PATIENT QUESTION OF THE DAY: Does anyone else have severe itching under your ostomy and it extends a few inches past the wafer? This is my third one. Never had issues with the first. The second my skin would come off in sheets from a reaction to every product I used. This time I was fine for almost the first 2 years. Now I have red and purple spots and I scratch til I bleed. The skin often gets pink and seeps clear fluid. Its really bad on the scar tissue areas.
