RUBIO Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day shift Hours: 9-6 Req Number: 124200 Job Details: This position is located at 5322 Fullerton Ave. Works the reception area in a multi physician practice. Answers the telephone, schedules appointments, triages telephone calls and obtains patient demographic and insurance information. Greets patients, verifies insurance, and collects co-pays and personal balances. Must be friendly and out-going with developed communication and customer service skills. Must enjoy working in a fast paced environment. Previous related experience in a physician office, knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding a plus. Familiarity with EPIC EMR a plus. Previous medical office experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate. Must enjoy working in a fast paced environment dealing with difficult or emotional patients. Must have some scheduling flexibility. Minimum 1 year experience of working at the front desk of a physicians practice is required. 1 to 3 years’ experience preferred.
