PAYCUT? NO SIR! We must ask ourselves when and why we ended up in the present imbrogilio. Who employed more people in the civil service without planning, moreso when computerization of Government offices dictated fewer personnel? Did the committee of experts who did our new constitution and Cinstitution Implementation commission do their assignment properly to ascertain the bloated number of honchos at the County Governent level would not put a strain on our budget? Does the exchequer really do simple arithmetic to realise that the strain put on the tax payers by the thieves who raid NSSF, NHIF, Kenya Power Kenya Pipeline (Triton) and virtually every quasi-government entity seriously dents our economy because the trillions are never recovered? Major players who should safeguard our money....The judiciary, the Director of prosecutions and The Anti-corruption commission went into a self-induced comatose slumber eons ago and take advantage of a faulty penal code where the thieves are set free after payment of a token bail of two hundred thousand after stealing a billion....to attend court mentions for a decade and sometimes dying before the cases are heard or the billions recovered! We are in the present state because Kenyans are mediocre and do not ask why the big-time thieves who steal our trillions are never prosecuted....they end up being elected to political positions and we lesser motals join the chorus bado mapambano after being bribed with fifty shillings! Nobody, repeat, no Kenyan should be punished with a paycut! Let the Government ask its honchos to return the Triton trillions, NHIF, NSSF, Kenya power and others belonging to Kenyans..and to the tax payers...you & me!
