PAYTON UPDATE: Or more like the lack of updates. Ive been so busy trying to adjust to life that I havent had time to update on here. But Payton has been doing good at home. She sleeps pretty good throughout the night and keeps us busy with dirty diapers. Gotta love having a kid on diuretics! Shes still not taking anything by the bottle yet but my hope is that will change when we can get her off the special Enfaport and back on regular Enfamil. Shes been handling weaning her narcotics well and occasionally has a bad day but thats expected. Weve been busy with appointment after appointment but rex and I are slowly adjusting. Were still working on the whole sleep schedule thing and it will all change when I go back to work on the 29th. Cant believe that 12 weeks has already almost went by! Weve definitely enjoyed being home with her and being able to cuddle anytime we want to. Fender(our dog) has enjoyed being a big brother. He really doesnt mind having Payton around but goes into protective mode anytime she coughs or pukes. Rex and I are so impressed and couldnt be more proud of him! When I find the extra time I will definitely try to update, otherwise just know that we are home and enjoying being a family ♡ #superpayton #noplacelikehome
