PBA 2014-2015 Season Format: * PHILIPPINE CUP - 11 games per team (single round-robin) - Top 2 teams after the eliminations automatically advance to the semifinals. - Bottom 2 teams will be eliminated. - Quarterfinals: Nos. 3, 4, 5 and 6-seeded teams will have a twice-to-beat advantage against the No. 7,8,9, and 10-seeded teams. - Semifinals (best-of-seven) - Finals (best-of-seven) * COMMISSIONERS CUP (Import-laden conference) - Bottom 4 teams in the Philippine Cup will be allowed imports of unlimited height while the other 8 teams will be restricted to players standing 6’9″. - 11 games per team (single round-robin) - Bottom 4 teams will be eliminated. - Quarterfinals: Top 2 teams after the eliminations will have a twice-to-beat advantage against the No. 7 and 8 seeds. Nos. 3,4,5 and 6 seeds take part in a best-of-three. - Semifinals (best-of-five) - Finals (best-of-five) * GOVERNORS CUP (Import-laden conference) - Bottom 4 teams in the Commissioners Cup will be allowed imports of unlimited height while the other 8 teams will be restricted to players standing 6’4″ (could be an Asian import). - 11 games per team (single round-robin) - Bottom 4 teams will be eliminated. - Quarterfinals: Top 4 teams will have a twice-to-beat advantage against the No. 5,6,7 and seeds. - Semifinals (best-of-five) - Finals (best-of-five) - LA
