PCDC Auditions again, and skit team audition Hey everyone, I’m sure most of you are aware of our k-Pop dance group, Panda Cookies Dance Crew. We will be reopening auditions, they will be on the first week of December. We are asking for people who are ready to commit to the team, and be prepared to do dedicate time towards both group practices AND time at home practicing. Because it is a Cosplay k-pop dance team, we do require that you have a Cosplay of some sort, only restriction is that it MUST be reasonably recognized by a crowd. To clarify: this means crossplay, Homestuck, weird animes, k&jpop star cosplays, movie Cosplays are all acceptable. OC cosplays are not. And, when we discuss which cons we will perform at, and when we as a group decide to go to one you will be responsible for purchasing your own con ticket. When you audition for the dance team, you must have prepared the chorus or a 30 second selection from a k&jpop song. It doesn’t matter which one, though for some suggestions: VIXX - Voodoo Beast - Shock SHINee - Sherlock Ukiss - Tick Tack SHINee - Lucifer NOW, for the skit team: Once again we ask for dedication and commitment. You will need a cosplay, and will be required to purchase your own ticket when attending cons we decide on as a group. To audition, you will need either A monologue: one minute minimum, and must be something recognizable. I.e. Anything goes as long as it’s from a movie or anime and you didn’t write it yourself. To audition as a group you must prepare a short one to two scene skit; recognizable as above. Above all, we need dedication and commitment. Stage fright, lack of talent, or inexperience can be worked through, but not without dedication. Hope to see you all there.
