PCG: Coast Guard Deputy Commandant Rear Admiral William M Melad presided the joint turn-over ceremony of the Coast Guard District National Capital Region- Central Luzon and Marine Environmental Protection Command at the Headquarters, Coast Guard Ready Force today, December 12. Commodore Joel S Garcia PCG, the outgoing Marine Environmental Protection Command Commander was designated as the new Commander of Coast Guard District National Capital Region-Central Luzon (CGDNCR-CL) while Rear Admiral Luis M Tuason Jr PCG, former Deputy Commandant for Operations assumed as the new Commander of Marine Environmental Protection Command.
