PDP Accuses APC For Sponsoring New Suit To Stall Fayoses Inauguration The Ekiti State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has berated the Governor Kayode Fayemi-led All Progressives Congress for allegedly sponsoring another suit in an Abuja High Court by proxy, seeking an injunction to stop the swearing-in of the state Governor-elect, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, on October 16. The party was referring to the suit with registration no FHC/Abuja/CS 709/14 between Young Democratic Party Vs INEC, Fayose and others, seeking for a court injunction to stop the inauguration of the governor-elect, Mr. Ayo Fayose. The state PDP posited that the new dimension the issue has taken and the alleged step taken by the APC had again confirmed its position that the ruling party is desperate to stall the inauguration of the governor-elect, having lost out in the governorship election. However, Senator Babafemi Ojudu, the senator representing Ekiti Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, on Wednesday described as untrue allegations by the Peoples Democratic Party in Ekiti State that the All Progressives Congress was planning to frustrate the inauguration of the governor-elect, Mr. Ayo Fayose. Fayose won the June 21 governorship election in Ekiti and is scheduled to be sworn-in on October 16, 2014.
