Apart from the embattled secretary of the party, the rebel governors also want recall of factional chairman, Abubakar Kawu Baraje; his deputy, Sam Sam Jaja and Ambassador Kazaure as well as removal of Alhaji Bamanga Tukur as national chairman of the party. The governors are also said to have requested the President to call the FCT Minister, Bala Muhammed, to order over his peceived assault on the G-7 governors. They are equally reported to have asked Jonathan to restore the security aides of the governors, which were withdrawn in the wake of the political crisis and to sanction the policemen that tried to disrupt their meetings in Abuja. One of the governors confirmed to newsmen, yesterday, that they were open to any discussion that would lead to peace, but doubted if the Presidency was ready for genuine peace and reconciliation.
