PDP DRUMS SUPPORT FOR MARTIN AGBASO THE IIJELE OF IMO POLITICS TO TAKE THE STAGE As the battle line draws closer for Imo gubernatorial election 2015, the streets of Imo have been flooded with posters and bill boards of different faces and inscriptions seeking one political position or the other. While many are busy littering the city with posters and bill boards, some who are mere novice to the guber game are busy painting the city with green, some red and others black. Well, as the popular adage, “if you are not informed, you will be deformed.” Some have started paying the price for their ignorance, exuberance and lack of experience and the necessary skills needed for the game. But only those who are skillful and experienced in this game, have been able to observe, conserve and concentrate their skills and resources to tactical internal politicking and wild consultation that can only guarantee their success in the race. And we begin to ask ourselves, can posters and bill boards actually win election for these novices who have littered the city with their faces? Also, are they really contesting for Imo guber race?, or are they merely seeking appointments and popularity? And finally, how ready are they for the race? Of all the line ups of Imo 2015 guber aspirants, Chief Martins Agbaso is one man who has really observed and concentrated his energy and resources for internal politicking and consultation. While most of these pretenders are busy littering the city and painting it green, Agbaso is busy consulting and lobbying those that matters in APGA, PDP and other parties within and outside Imo state. To ensure his victory at the party primaries and consequently, the gubernatorial election. Beyond the lobbying and consultation, the camp of Chief Martin Agbaso is equally monitoring and assessing the camp of the possible opponents that will emerge out of these novices. To those who know the game very well, it is all about deception. It has no standard form. For one to succeed in this game, one must be a great dribbler. To this, Sun Tzu opines, “While strong in reality, appear to be weak. While brave in reality, appear to be cowardly.” In furtherance of this tactical formlessness by Chief Ochoudo Martin Ogbaso that will turn out to be a great factor, has forced many players and observers to submit that Ochudo Martin Agbaso will not run for Imo state guber 2015 (formless). But inversely, when he finally surfaces and declares his interest for Imo 2015, the calculation will automatically change, and he will dictate the tone of the game.He will be totally in charge of the game, and if well managed, will amount to his victory as the next governor of Imo state. Again, as we observe the maneuvering and lobbying by high profile PDP Chieftains with a DIVINE MANDATE to woo Chief Ochoudo Martin Agbaso and his massive grassroot structures back to PDP, further proves Ochoudo’s irresistible political charm cum magnetism and the cornerstone of Imo politics. One thing is so overt here, “if Chief Rochas Okorocha and his politics of deceit must be ousted out of Imo State, those indispensable structure of APGA and PDP must be concentrated and Martin Agbaso remains one of such structures”. At this interface, any good political observer or analyst will opine that sequel to the lobbying by PDP chieftains to woo Martin Agbso back to PDP, will amount to a new beginning in his political career not just in Imo State but in the national politics. Whether Chief Martin Agbaso will be positive to these lobbies or not, its what we are uncertain, but for now lets enjoy the game as PDP drums support for the Ijele of Imo State Politics to take the stage… Comr.
