PDP NWC AFFIRMS ZONING AKWA IBOM GOVERNORSHIP Kudos to the zonistas, the intellectual wing of the Akwa Ibom society led by some resolute, focused, and independent minded Akwa Ibom sons from all works of life. Kudos to Uwemedimoh Umanah, Essien Ndueso, James Abang, Dr MUA Eshiett, Prof Felix Edoho, Ace Samson, Chris Abasi Eyo, Chief Tony Udomkpa, Chief Edubio, Edet Udotim, Pharm Emem Isang, and others who risked their lives, and spared nothing at ensuring that justice was the bedrock of our society. I also wish to congratulate the State Governor, who saw the need to listen to the voice of reason. I have always believed and felt in my spirit, that the UOU project, and every other attempt to neglect zoning and justice would fail colossally. The Governor, Chief Godswill Akpabio did well to have supported the course of justice and equity, in Akwa Ibom state. Finally, the National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party deserves commendation. When I wrote the national chairman of the party, Alhaji Adamu Muazu a letter titled, The Need for Peace and Stability in Akwa Ibom State, l did do out of my personal conviction, than the openness of eye service; that the PDP would abide by the tenets of its constitution, which was founded on justice. Today, I am stand vindicated that the forces of progress have defeated the forces of darkness in Akwa Abasi Ibom State. May the Almighty God bless HIS own people! Uwemedimoh Umanah
