PDS friends and fans.. I will be watching this piece of energy for December 15th over the next week to see what becomes of it. As of right now, the GFS shows a strong, neutral to slight negatively tilted trough over the middle portion of the country. From what I am seeing with this system.. the models are hinting that temps will be in the 50s and 60s ahead of the trough. There is also plenty of wind shear. it is too early at this point to divulge into what ifs but for now, please keep the time frame around the 15th of December in the back of your mind. I will have more info as it becomes available. Other model ensembles are picking up on this but are placing the trough in different areas. We will see what comes into agreement by the middle of next week.
