PEACE BE UPON YOU DAILY HE GIVES ME ANOTHER CHANCE (By: Emmanuel Junior Zakka) When rising and falling are what define my life When more weaknesses than strengths depict the struggle When life is full of learning and full of false-starts Imagine me without a second chance! So strong that you never had a moment of weakness? So dependable that you never showed you are human? So reliable that you never gave someone even a hint of disappointment? Where is such a man, let me see if such a one exists I daily disappoint Love Divine I sin constantly against Divine Justice I have never gone a day without a fault Yet He gives me chance and chance again to make me better If I benefit from His gift of many chances Why not be so charitable to an erring neighbour? If my own life shows both strengths and weaknesses Why the demand for just strength from a fellow human? I will lose angelic friends without giving them the benefit of a second chance I will align with viperous souls if I make First Impression my Standard It pays to give another person another chance None is so good as to always be without a need for a second chance It is always demanding on patience It is challenging to the ego But if you cant be patient with me until you see the best in me Imagine what God should be saying about you if He were a man I have been given chance after chance - never because I deserved it I have received grace after grace - not on grounds of merits If I must be like my Father, if indeed I must be like Him I must give someone a chance, and another, and another #JESUSorNothing
