Dexter is a former bait dog who was Rescued off death row 4 years ago from East Valley Shelter by one of our good Rescue friends, Tyler N Nasise. The amazing Dexter has recently been diagnosed with mast cell cancer. Dexter is incredible and truly an ambassador for his breed. I entered Dexter in the American Dog Magazine Cover contest on 8/28/2013 & the next day 8/29/2013 I learned Dexter has mast cell tumors/cancer. My goal is to make the rest of his life filled with wonderful memories of all things he likes or I think he will enjoy.
