PEDESTRIAN SAFETY Safety Tips-: - Pedestrians must be alert and be able to judge the speed and distance of approaching vehicles. - Wear light and bright clothing especially at night and during inclement weather. - Where there are no pavements, pedestrians must walk on the right side of the road facing oncoming traffic. - Pedestrians must cross at designated pedestrian crossings e.g. pedestrian traffic lights, zebra crossings, stop signs, pedestrian bridges, scholar patrols. - Pedestrian must NEVER walk on freeways.
