PEOPLE FROM MATABELAND HAVE SPOKEN Statement given by MRP President Mqondisi Moyo: We would like to advice our people not to take the so called renewal team seriously because it is here to confuse us as the people of Matabeleland. They are here to divert our attention; they are not in any case better than Tsvangirai, they are even worse. If they were sincere they would have left MDC-T in 2005 when the MDC split. Why now? Matabeleland is no playground for any emerging political party hunting for numbers. Biti and Mangoma were all in government during the GNU and the two of them did nothing with regard to Gukurahundi other than former minister (Moses) Mzila-Ndlovu who fought a lonely battle. Maybe Biti and Mangoma can tell us why now? The MRP held fliers around Bulawayo which read, Biti leave us alone. We dont want you to come here to cry more than the bereaved. Biti and company are wolfs in sheep skin who are just here to impress their donors at the expense of people. We say enough is enough, this is not your play ground. THEY MUST ASK WELSHMAN NCUBE. When travelling, where you are not sure of the directions, ASK. The programme to compensate Gukurahundi victims is an MDC-T programme which SHALL BE DONE when we are in power, so this plan by Biti and crew to steal it from us, as they are used to stealing party funds, is a campaign gimmick. People will not be moved by that. The Movement for Democratic Change led by its President, one and only legitimate President of the Republic of Zimbabwe Dr Morgan Richard Tsvangirai is, and until Kingdom come will be, there for the people of Zimbabwe as a whole, FROM BORDER TO BORDER. Now the REBELS have been told, what next for them? They are finished, whether they like it or not and their coming back to the real party of excellence will be a last thing they will ever dream of after having “defecated on where they sleep”. In Nyanja or Chewa they say, “WANYELA POGONA”.
