PEOPLE!!!! In regards to computers, when you tell the sales person you want more memory it DOES NOT mean u want MORE STORAGE. MEMORY IS NOT STORAGE CAPACITY. How its not common knowledge today, baffles me. There are 3 major components to a computer: the BRAIN, which is known as the PROCESSOR, the STORAGE is usually called the HARD drive or SOLID STATE drive. This is where all your little files go (photos, music, documents, movies & programs. The 3rd part is commonly known as RAM or MEMORY. U can think of this as the little shopping cart that transports your files to and from the DRIVE TO/from the PROCESSOR. The more RAM/memory you have: the bigger the shopping cart: the more accessibility you have to your files. If there is anything I can leave you with today, I hope its the knowledge in knowing the difference between MEMORY & STORAGE CAPACITY.
