PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW!!!!!!! I have received numerous calls from people about getting calls from the American cancer Society for the expansion of Medicaid. According to the American Cancer Society, they DO NOT take sides in political issues like this. They portray the American Cancer Society to be in favor of expansion. Those who hear the actual truth about expansion realize Mississippi cannot afford to adopt this policy. You can go to the ACS website. You will not find any statement for or against expanding Medicaid. The Expansionists are desperate. The seem to want to misinform and scare everyone into thinking they are right. If you get one of these calls, get a name or a phone number to contact someone. Let me know and I will relay it to the ACS people who are looking to this phone scam. I support the ACS and was told their money was spent on research to find a cure. It was not wasted on political issues. Those were left to the people and their Representatives and Senators.
