PEOPLE PLEASE PAY ATTENTION!!! In Middletown they are forcing 25% of Kindergarteners 5 YEAR OLDS to go to FIVE WEEKS OF SUMMER SCHOOL. Think about it. 600 students district wide. This is a test to see if they can get away with it. Middletown needs to stand up against this and we need to stand across the State with them. If this happens it will result in year round classes for everyone. Thats what theyre looking to do. It needs to be stopped. This is nothing short of State-led child abuse of children, forcing them and to learn reading and math skills that are developmentally age inappropriate for their age group. Arne Duncan is on record that the goal is to have 12 hour school days, 6-7 days a week, ALL year long!
