PEPFAR CHAMPION 2014 PEPFAR has awarded Dr. Aaron Mujajati President Zambia Medical Association,PEPFAR Champion 2014. Dr. Mujajati is committed to advocating for equal access to health services. His belief is that to curb HIV, we must confront the social, cultural, economic and political barriers that hinder access to HIV care and treatment for special populations. Dr. Mujajati has earned respect for his courage and boldness in advocating for the health of special groups, especially adolescents women, and prisoners. Dr. Mujajati has publicly called for mass screening of prisoners for TB, HIV and for the development of a national program for adolescent HIV care and treatment.
