PERFORMANCE FACT: Did you know the notion of creating a habit in 21 days as a hard number is a fallacy? This number came from a 1960 M.D. report which referenced the thought that it took 21 days for an individual to get used to losing a limb and it has taken off in self-help literature ever since. It has been shown that timeframes for habit formation can be considerably varied from 20 days to almost a year and you dont necessarily have to perform them perfectly everyday to be successful. Successful people match and develop healthy habits with their goals and intentions for elite performance.
