PERRY MIDDLE SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS Good Morning Perry Middle School Blue Jays and Staff Today is September 5, 2013 Day A Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance Attention all Middle School students: With the start of a new month comes an opportunity to earn 10 easy Jay Feathers. How is this possible you might be asking yourself? It is easy. All students who attend school every day during the month of September will receive 10 Jay Feathers. Don’t miss out! The St. Pat’s Knights of Columbus will hold their 2nd Annual Soccer Challenge at 6 PM on September 8th at the North Street Soccer Field. The Soccer Challenge is a free event for all boys and girls from age 10 through 14. Each participant will take 15 penalty kicks. Each shot will be scored when it crosses into the goal. The top corners will be scored at 20 points each, the bottom corners are 10 points, and all others will be worth 5 points each. After all participants have taken their shot all points will be added up. Medal will be awarded to the boy and girl with the top in each of the five age groups. The winners in each division will also be eligible for the Regional Challenge to be held at a later date. Everyone will receive a participation certificate and will be entered into a prize drawing. Remember this is a free event to all kids ages 10 to 14. Please contact Eric Vaughn (465-5676) with any questions.
