PERRY POLICE REPORT Benedict street man facing charges after punching his girlfriend in the face, pulling her out and choking her Perry Police responded to a residence on Benedict street for a domestic dispute on November 23, 2014. After a brief investigation, police discovered that Javier Gordillo, 27, of Benedict street, Perry, was involved in a physical disturbance with his girlfriend. During the incident, Gordillo allegedly punched his girlfriend in the face, pushed her into a wall and pulled out a chunk of her hair. In the course of the fight, Gordillo also allegedly wrapped his arm around her neck and tried to choke her. The incident occurred in front of the couples four year old daughter. Upon arrival, it was found that Gordillo had left the residence with his daughter still inside the residence without anyone to care for her. Gordillo is charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, assault 3rd, harassment 2nd and criminal obstruction of breathing. He was held in the Wyoming County jail on $7,500 bail. The Wyoming County Sheriffs Office assisted in the incident. Alanna M. Muniak, 25, and Paul G. Phillips, 37, both of Genesee street are facing charges after Perry Police were called to their residence on Genesee street after a neighbor called police with concern for the children at the home. The neighbor was allegedly attacked by Muniak. While police were investigating the whereabouts of Muniak and her child, they found her hiding in the basement of her residence. Muniak then went after one of the officers involved in the investigation. She was charged with harassment 2nd after she struck the officer. Muniak is also facing an endangering the welfare of a child charge. Paul G. Phillips is charged with obstructing governmental administration for impeding the investigation and failing to comply with lawful orders. Perry Police responded to the bowling alley on Covington street for a reported stolen vehicle. After a call out over the radio with a description of the missing vehicle it was located a short time later on South Federal street. An evidence technician from the Sheriffs Department responded to the scene to check for fingerprints. After a check of the vehicle it was returned to its owner.
