PERSPECTIVE: I am getting so tired of this Don Sterling nonsense. Every person with an opinion on it in my friends list is employed at a company that has the corporate ideology that Sterling was unfortunate enough to have captured on tape. At least in the Clippers organization, the highest paid and most valuable employees are Black... Bet you cant say that at YOUR company. Saying what a player signed to a contract should do from your device is STUPID. Especially when you arent practicing such fortitude in YOUR life. And you getting paid 30-150k. I get it... What Black people dont understand is that as far as attendance at games are concerned, were almost a non factor. Matter of fact, the average White season ticket/box owner probably feels the EXACTLY same way as Sterling. The Blacks wealthy enough to sit on the floor probably do as well... Because they know Sterling, as racist as he is, likely wasnt referring to uber-wealthy that actually pay thousands to sit on the floor... But I digress... My point is this: Everybody wants to try to sound so conscious and progressive, and use every news issue as some type of mini civil rights moment when things happen in their face and they do NOTHING. Thousands of Black men have made millions playing in the NBA, but only two had the gumption to try to at least get a piece of a team? Jay-Z gets piece of a team before Scottie Pippen? Especially since Pippen got money first and much faster... He was in the league 10 years before Jay cut his first record... Build some shit, own some shit and quit marching and boycotting against people that do. Then MAYBE somebody might respect you. But I dont think Don Sterling cares about a bunch of 300 level seat buyers... IJS... via Joshua Amanze
