PERSPECTIVE If a White child was born in China, raised & educated by Chinese, given a Chinese religion, spoke Chinese, taught about Chinese heroes, taught Chinese history, watched Chinese TV & cinema and is barely taught anything about White culture... please tell me... what perspective would that child or grown person have? A Chinese perspective or a White perspective? Without being philophastical, we know the person would have White physical features but a Chinese perspective. If an Afrikan child was born in America, raised & educated by Whites, given White religion, spoke English, taught about White heroes, taught White history, watched White TV & cinema and is barely taught anything about Afrikan culture... please tell me... what perspective would that child or grown person have? An Afrikan perspective or a White perspective? This IS the paradox that Black Americans, any Afrikan Community that has come up underneath White perspective has had and has to deal with. And the same goes for descendants of Tainos, the Boriquen, Aztecs, etc. etc. etc. This is the reason why, in these communities, theres always an issue between the Educated & Uneducated. The I made its and the I didnt make its. On the White Educated side, many tend to not identify with the culture of those who came before them. Simply because they were raised and given a White perspective. That perspective is all they know. Without understanding this, the Non-White educated Afrikan, would be quick to tell the White-educated Afrikan that he/she has forgotten where they came from. Most of the time, they didnt. They never knew. I bring this up because within the Afrikan Community, few correctly understand the whys of the field nigger & the house nigger. Even less... can recognize the spook who sits by the door. Understand that education isnt just 1 + 1 = 2. One can get that in ANY community of people. Education is also Cultural. One cant just get a particular Culture in any community of people. Why is this important? Because its extremely difficult to converse with someone you dont understand. Its even more difficult to figure out how to get along with them. Now some can take this information and use it to blame Whites. That will do no good for what has been done, is what victors of War traditionally did... which is dominate the dominated. It is what it is. Personally, right or wrong, Ive blamed the Black Churches, Puerto-Rican Churches, Dominican Churches, Mexican Churches for not doing as the Jewish do and teaching the histories & perspectives related to themselves. Now, I also understand that Whites, initially, wouldnt allow for Ourstories to be taught. Ive always wished Ourstories couldve been passed through song & story. Regardless of my personal thoughts & feelings... STILL... I believe this tactic should be adopted... IMMEDIATELY. Teach ourselves, our perspective & ourstories in our Churches. Understand that racism is an illusion that we HAVE to deal with. Honest & unafraid conversation can put it on life support. People are the same in ANY race. They come different ways. They come tall, short, fat, skinny, right, righteous, wrong, devilish, promiscuous, whorish, chaste, honorable, full of shit, smart, dumb and a plethora of other things that attract & unattract (for those who understand). CHURCH!!!
