PERTH - WARNING There is currently a group of men walking the streets knocking on Muslim homes asking for charity for Afghanistan. They are using the name Australian Afghan Khorasan Association. I received them at my door today after hearing about them going through the Turkish community in Cannington asking for sponsorship of children and cash donations WITHOUT ISSUING A RECEIPT. I spoke with the older gentleman at length. After my discussion I DID NOT GIVE HIM anything. I recommend you do not give them anything. Unless the organisation is a Government registered Charitable Not for Profit organisation DO NOT give them anything. Allah protect our community.
