PFC Nichole Danley has been selected by her Leadership as the Battalion’s Soldier of the Week. PFC Danley is a 25U in Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1-64 Armor Battalion. PFC Danley was recently selected as Soldier of the Month in the recent promotion board and will soon be promoted to Specialist. Name: Nichole Danley Rank: PFC Unit: S-6, HHC, 1-64 Armor Battalion Hometown: Trenton, New Jersey Q: What is your MOS? What do you enjoy most about the Army? A: 25U (Signal Support Systems Specialist), but I mostly work as a 25B (Information Technology Specialist). I enjoy my job very much. I really enjoy helping other Soldiers with their computer related problems. Q: How long have you been in the Army? A: Eighteen Months. Q: What are your hobbies/interests? A: I enjoy playing basketball, football, and soccer. I coach youth teams on Fort Stewart. I am currently coaching the a 4-5 year old soccer team. They’re winning, but the goalie likes to climb the goal sometimes… Q: What is the best advice you have received from your Leadership? A: SSG Spriggs (my NCOIC) told me, “Never give up.” Q: What advice would you give to New Soldiers? A: Always keep a positive attitude. Don’t quit.
