PFLP-GC brands missiles for use against Palestinians in Yarmouk camp: report Yarmouk Palestinian refugee camp, #Damascus, 17-01-2015: This video footage from the Palestinian Diaspora Media Center (SHTAT PAL) shows missiles branded by Ahmed Jibrils Tehran-backed Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine - General Command (PFLP-GC), which are being used against Palestinian civilians in Yarmouk refugee camp in Damascus, killing dozens of people and causing massive further destruction to the besieged camp, where over 50 percent of the homes and other buildings have already been destroyed in the daily regime bombardment. These are the same type of missiles which were used in the attack during the month of Ramadan in 2013 which killed 25 civilians, mostly women and children. It is noteworthy that these rockets have been named after a senior regime shabih and PFLP-GC official, Mahmoud Nayef, a.k.a. Abu Daham. This reflects the competition between the various pro-regime militias, who are keen to launch their own brand of rockets at the refugee camp they are besieging, where over 20,000 Palestinian civilians still live, doing so supposedly in the name of Palestinian liberation. The militias and regime forces continue to besiege the camp, as well as preventing the entrance of food and medicine and cutting off all electricity and water supplies, with 171 residents documented as dying of starvation as a result of the regime siege to date. On the occasions when aid is allowed in to the camp, snipers from the militias routinely target civilians queueing to receive it, with the aid boxes widely informally referred to as death boxes as a result.
