PFTF supports the families we help and all the decisions they make. People are entitled to have their opinions and have different perspectives on things but one thing that we want to open for discussion is breastfeeding. Breastfeeding in general. A family that we helped with their newborn baby who exclusively breastfeeds shared their experience with us privately and we encourage others to do the same. Please feel free to anonymously email us your experiences as a mother, a family, a caregiver, or just someone who has knowledge about babies and their development in regards to breastfeeding. Please also feel free to comment below and share experiences but keep in mind we all think differently and we all have different experiences in life and are on different journeys. I personally think this testimonial about breastfeeding is beautiful, encouraging, and truly heart warming to read. The connection between a mother and their baby is like nothing else, whether or not you breastfeed. For those who cant or couldnt breastfeed, please tell us things that helped you bond with your baby in a special way. We have many moms who would truly appreciate your guidance and words of wisdom. I feel one of the best decisions Ive made as a low-income single mother is to breastfeed my child. He is healthy and happy because of the nourishment that my own body gives him. I dont need to buy anything I cant afford or rely on anyone...its just myself and my son. Breastfeeding was a challenge at first...long nights waking up with a tiny infant and some physical discomfort. Four months in and I could not be happier. I have a relationship with my son that no one else can because I provide his food for him. I hope more low-income mothers will consider breastfeeding; its truly amazing.
