PG&E NOTICE --VENTING PROJECT From PG&E... This email is to alert you that PG&E crews will be venting natural gas as part of our two gas pipeline projects on Wednesday, September 11th at approximately 8:30 am. The venting will take approximately 15 minutes. As the natural gas is vented, residents and those working in this area will likely detect the odor of gas and may hear loud noise at the site and surrounding areas. There is no need for fire or police standby during the venting. Project Locations & Descriptions Western St and High St: Installation of a new steel gas main to meet future UCSC gas capacity demands and to meet current safety standards in the neighborhood. Highland Ave and High St: Upgrading the existing steel gas main with a new plastic main and upgrading gas service lines to meet the current safety standards.
