PHANTOM-THE GHOST WHO WALKS--down the memory lane Phantom who wore his underwear above his mystical attire and lived in a skull-shaped cave in the depths of some African jungle where if you cry his name drums start beating to get the message to him and though he rode on his horse everywhere he carried his dog even on a plane because it passed for a wolf at times or remember MANDRAKE ,THE MAGICIAN AND HIS FRIEND LOTHAR who belonged to a special magic school run by the master Thoren who had telepathic powers and Mandrake through his magic made criminals carrying pistols think that they were carrying pumpkins and brought so many to book or remember BAHADUR-BELA-NASOOD POLICE KENDRA who collaborated to fight dacoits..You can only remember these characters if you have read INRAJAL COMICS.Even if you dont remember these you might remember CHACHA CHAUDHARY AND SABU perhaps or if you had the best reading in town you cant forget TINTIN and his friend CAPTAIN HADDOCK OF THUNDERING TYPHOONS fame or ARCHIES,JUGHEAD,VERONICA etc..if Superman and Spiderman were present always what about LAMBU-MOTU,RAJAN-IQBAL etc.Knowing these characters well means you were in the time when people read comics as a pleasurable past-time something which has been replaced in this generation by watching cartoons of SINCHAN,CHOTTA BHEEM,etc. I will gun for my times to be better because reading delight is more than audio-visual delight perhaps --this is debatable but watching like a couch potato instills the mind in a way but when you are reading you conjure many more things of the mind too--perhaps it involved the mental faculties more deeply but I am not totally sure and I would like inputs from both generations.Give some feedbaCK
