PHASES OF ASSIGNMENT After given our life to God and we - TopicsExpress

PHASES OF ASSIGNMENT After given our life to God and we surrender our will to His Lordship, God will put us through phases of the works He has for us. The time shall come when we shall drink from the BROOKS of water. The time shall also come when we shall be fed by RAVENS. The time shall come when the RAVENS shall seize from supplying the necessaries, because God hath commanded it to stop bringing food. And the final time shall come when we would have to go to the widow whom God had prepared to sustain us with her widows might. In each of the phases or seasons of our journey with God, there are lessons that God would have us learn. If we didnt complete the assignments in each of the phases that we are in, there is no way we can go on to the next phase. The reason God wants us to move from one phase to another is because God doesnt want us be too comfortable staying at one spot for too long a time. ..... The Lord our God said to us in Horeb, You have dwelt long enough on this mountain..... (Deuteronomy 1:6). Abraham had to separate from Lot to live alone with his family was a phase. Jacob had to supplant his twin brother (Esau) in order for him to get to where he was going was a phase. Joseph had to live his fathers house, sold out, he was lied on, thrown into the prison, in other for him to become a prime minister was a phase. David had to kill the lions and the bears in the bush in order for him to be qualified for the royal throne was a phase. Jesus did not limit His messianic assignment to only preaching or miracles and wonders, but had to go through the way of the cross down to the grave in order to redeem the souls of men was a phase. Yes your wife is nagging, your husband is unstable, your kids are nasty, your parents are too strict, your boss, friends, neighbors, siblings, in fact everyone is treating you like you have no glorious feature, all these people are the phases of life you need to go through. God made this promise that after you have gone through all these phases .....But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you (1 Peter 5:10 KJV). To HIM be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen!!!
