PHE employee supplies water on commission basis Srinagar, Aug 7: Scores of people in North Kashmir’s Kuligam area of Lolab staged a massive protest against PHE department. “The employees associated with water tanker (JK09-483 of PHE do not bother to supply us drinking water but what they do is astounding. They receive commission from those people who construct their houses and provide them drinking water which they utilize on bricks,” one of the protestors told CNS. Protestors alleged that one employee of PHE Ghulam Mohi-u-Din associated with Water Tanker does this all. “This employee supply water tankers filled with water to those who are busy in constructing houses. This employee receive bribe from them for this purpose and for few coins make the people of whole area to suffer,” they said and demanded immediate action against the said employee. (CNS)
