PHEW! I am exhausted! I decided to use the warmer weather to get this yeard into shape. It has been embarrassing to have this page and have my yard look like anything but a paradise! My front bed has been invaded by nimblewill, that light grass-like weed that has consumed my front bed! It is a nightmare to get rid of and I am at wits end as to how to eradicate it in my garden! ~Anyway, I feel much better mentally now. I was able to get most of the hanging baskets down and put away. I also cut down many of the plants that were brown and I cleaned out the wire hayrack window planters. I want to add some greenery and berries to them for some visual interest, but that is for another day. I spread leaf mulch through the beds and they be set now for the winter. I still have work to do but one day at a time. My back is screaming at me right now so I need to be balanced. It feels good to finally getting it done though. It simply lets me know that this year was not a good year for me health-wise. I have always had this yard looking good by this time. Thought you might like the before and after photos. See that? I am no different than anyone else when it comes to always having more to do! ;)
