PHL EMBASSY IN OSLO REGISTERS ITS 1ST OVERSEAS VOTER 13 May 2014 – The overseas voter registration period in the Nordic region began on May 6 and the Philippine Embassy in Oslo, Norway commends Mrs. Arlene G. Jonassen for being the first from the Nordic region to register for the 2016 presidential election. Mrs. Jonassen, who resides in Denmark with her family, took a 13-hour ferry ride to Oslo in order to appear at the Embassy for her consular documents and to register as a voter for the elections. The Embassy encourages all citizens of the Philippines to register to be able to vote at the 2016 elections.
