PHO GET ABOUT IT A ROWDY NOODLE MARKET WITH SAKE ON TAP Indoor vs. outdoor. Beer vs, sake. The ‘Fukuburger’ vs. everything else. When it comes to matters of the night, decision-making can be hard. So maybe don’t make any decisions and just walk around saying ‘yes’ when we suggest FREE events like Sydney’s Night Noodle Markets, launching tomorrow night. This year there’ll be 50 stalls where you can feast upon all of Asia’s most glorious street foods and quaff upon all Asia’s…well, booze. New stallholders include Wonderboa, Harajuku Gyoza, China Republic, Mamak, Longrain, Din Tai Fung and New Shanghai. And all the old favourites are back too, including Mamak, Longrain, Din Tai Fung and New Shanghai. Keep your eyes peeled for the exciting new seating areas, lighting installations and bars, as well as the Citi VIP area with its own Citi Concierge (for the posh folk). Or hey, here’s an idea: your can check out Gelato Messinas new Lucky Fortune Bar. Always bringing something out-of-the-rice-box to the party, they’ve designed four Asian inspired creations dubbed the POTLUCK PIES. Think sundaes with specially created Asian delicacies including fortune cookie clusters, kaffir lime sponge and chilli coconut cookies. Each pot is layered with a base of brownie or sponge, smothered in 3 scoops of gelato then topped with Asian additions and a cookie flip top lid. Just look for the stall with the longest queue (Messina’s trademark sign). And now your weekend is covered. You’re welcome. Open: Hyde Park North | Oct 10-26 | FREE ENTRY Mon – Tue 5pm – 9pm Wednesday 5pm – 10pm Thursday - Fri 5pm – 11pm Saturday 4pm-10pm Sunday 4pm – 9pm For more information on the Night Noodle Markets and opening times please visit: sydney.goodfoodmonth/nightnoodlemarkets #NoodleMarkets #RiceRiceBaby #UrbanSociety #Cocktails #Sake #Sydney #AllYouCanEat #Summer #DimSum #AsianFood #Markets #NightMarkets
