PHOTO DIARIES Quest keeps a photo diary of all equines who are assisted in a ‘hands on’ sense via care at the QEW Shelter. The individual diaries linked to from this page are important tributes to each individual horse/pony/donkey. Each of these animals should have their story respectfully told so that their suffering can not only be acknowledged, but also so that the contributing factors responsible for their own specific welfare crisis be known and understood. Their stories should not be forgotten. It is hoped that by reading these diaries, community members will be better able to recognise equine welfare issues and will feel more accountable to advocate for animals who are potentially at risk. It is with that aim, also for the purpose of keeping our kind sponsors up to date with the progress of their sponsored horses, and with the aim of providing information for potential adopters, that the diary of each of these beautiful animals is shared with you.
