PHOTO EXHIBIT GUIDELINES Who All the 13 divisions of Philippine Luzon District. One entry per division. What Photo exhibits that feature club service projects undertaken during the current administrative year. Pictures must represent actual project implementation bearing Kiwanis markings. Each photo should be labeled with brief descriptions of the project. Photos could be pasted in a cartolina, illustration board or any other materials that would fit the 4’x4’ frame prepared by the committee. No required number and size of pictures. How/When All entries must be submitted to Plaza Del Norte Hotel and Convention Center on September 5, 2013 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Posting of pictures and other preparations could be done until 5pm only. Viewing starts at 6pm. Final selection of winning entries will be done on September 7 at 10:00am. Division representatives must be present during the selection proceedings. Judging Criteria Pictures showing Kiwanis events throughout the year generating biggest community impact shall merit heavy weight. We want to project Kiwanis as a dynamic organization that delivers good deeds to the less endowed. We want these activities captured in camera. No “firing squad” photos and pictures must show Kiwanis in action. Pictures must be printed in photopapers. Tarpaulin presentations are not accepted. Judging criteria include the ability of the image reflect an interesting story, showcase a striking aspect of life in the Philippines, exhibit strong creativity, as well as demonstrate a high level of photographic quality. Board of Judges (not coming from Philippine Luzon District) consisting of 3 members shall be chosen on the basis of impartiality, probity and reasonable expertise in the art of photography. Entries will be judged on the following criteria: Creativity and originality of expression; 20% Choice of motif: visualization of the topic “mobility”; 20% Photo composition: clarity of presentation, 20% Ability to catch the viewer’s interest. 40% Awards First Place - 5,000.00 Php Second Place - 3,000.00 Php Third Place - 2,000.00 Php All participants will be given a certificate.
