PHOTOGRAPHIC CUSTOMERS - All is good at Keylight :) Firstly, I wanted to thank all of you for the continued support over the years. All is going remarkably well over here and I am flat out busy with weddings, portrait shoots, editing and such. I achieved my 1027th Wedding this weekend and am continuing until I get to One Million! If I am still alive by then, that is!! :D ABOUT WEDDING ALBUMS - Parker Photographic in Birmingham. I learned today that my main supplier - and Britains only supplier - of Mario Acerboni Italian Storybooks and Albums has gone into liquidation. I have traded with them since 1997 when I started. All this means for my customers is that I am waiting firstly to hear back from Mario in Italy themselves as to whether I can trade directly with them going forward, but they are closed until September (Italy get summer work holidays). Once I know more, I will update. In the meantime, I have had to put a hold on designing and ordering the Mario albums (Petalo, Milano, Reporto) until I hear back. It only puts a few weeks delay on things, but please dont worry, I wont be letting anyone down with their orders. If Mario cannot trade with me directly, I have some other British suppliers to speak to as they too know about Parkers closing and may alter their product range to accommodate the many wedding photographers who, like me, are waiting to see what happens. If I need to switch to a new supplier, I will make sure that all books are either as good as or slightly better than those ordered. There will be no drop-downs for my customers. If it costs Keylight a few bob more, then so be it. Customers with Rhapsody books are not affected as these are supplied by British firm GF Smith.
