PHOTOS (20): On August 27, MSBA President Debra G. Schubert joined nearly two dozen attorneys from MSBA’s Young Lawyers Section (YLS) and Public Awareness Committee (PAC), as well as volunteers from Operation Welcome Home Maryland (operationwelcomehomemd.org/), in delivering a hero’s welcome to returning servicemen and servicewomen at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport. Volunteers cheered on the honorees while presenting them with goodie bags. The event was part of YLS and PAC’s joint public-service effort, “One Bar, One Community”, as well as President Schubert’s focus on the legal needs of veterans and active duty military personnel and the attorneys who serve them. https://flickr/photos/marylandbar/sets/72157646556116120/
