PI2014 #689 – Balanced Budget Amendment Unnecessary ASK A HORSE “When government accepts responsibility for people, then people no longer accept responsibility for themselves.” ~ George Patki Friday, August 15th, 2014 Liberty Lovers, usdebtclock.org: Every American Taxpayer Now Owes The (federal) State $151,629; every citizen $55,40. “Fear, born of that stern matron, responsibility.” ~ John Ruskin There Is No Reason why “We, the American People” should tolerate ‘sequestration’ nonsense. ‘Sequestration,’ bemoaned by President Obama - who blessed it by signing Budget Control Act 2011, came about because we, not-so-sovereign-behaving Americans, let ‘sequestration’ shadow our doorsteps. “Freedom is the will to be responsible to ourselves.” ~ Friedrich Nietzsche Ordinary Americans Have To live within their means. ‘Government’ (“The State”), though, gets to confiscate Americans’ property - as public officials decide necessary - to pay for ‘government’ needs first. Americans pay for America’s ‘government’; they should force ‘government’ to avoid idiotic deficit spending like plagues... and fire public officials who don’t. “First we make our habits, then our habits make us.” ~ Charles C Noble Worse, “The State” Confiscates (through direct taxation) more of Americans’ property when public officials decide ‘government’ needs more money. “We, the American People” are immensely stupid to allow public officials to behave this way. We can end their irresponsible action by abolishing direct taxation and decentralizing power. “Power without responsibility - the prerogative of the harlot throughout the ages.” ~ Rudyard Kipling Some Critics Say America needs a Constitutional amendment requiring a balanced federal budget. Completely unnecessary. Americans need to abolish direct taxation and “State” deficit spending . . . and force public officials to live within voter-approved indirect taxation. “Nobody ever did, or ever will, escape the consequences of his choices.” ~ Alfred A Montapert People Intending To Live In Liberty do not allow legislators - or other public officials within These United States of America, to subsidize private enterprise with public money. They prohibit government from corrupting free market principles. Stop and Think It’s your property, not “State” property. Let Freedom Ring – Abolish Direct Taxation Choose citizencontrolledtaxation Best Wishes, Len Ritchey
