PIA-6/AKLAN: The National Historical Commission of the Philippines conducted Classic Finish Repainting of the monuments of Andres Bonifacio, Dr. Jose Rizal, Hon. Gregorio Pastrana, Col. Pastor Martelino and Captain Gil Mijares at the Pastrana Park, Kalibo and the Aklan Freedom Shrine where the bones of the 19 Martyrs were buried. The NHCP move, with the support of the Tourism and Cultural Affairs Division and the Municipal Engineering Office of Kalibo to make the Kalibo Pastrana Park and the Aklan Freedom Shrine more attractive and a "must-see" part of Kalibo. The NHCP also went to Malinao to improve the monument of Candido Iban, one of the 19 Martyrs of Aklan and the unveiling of marker and bust of Ananias Diokno, a national historical figure in Altavas.
