PICU Day 5: Last night was a rough one! Rough only because Miles is feeling better and up for a fight when it comes to wearing this annoying mask! He has his nights and days completely flip-flopped. Even after his night meds which normally put him to sleep they had to try Ativan x2 and Benadryl. He only slept an hour until this morning when he passed right out. After trying hard to be weaned from the Bipap to Cpap he had to be put back on the Bipap again early last night. In rounds I suggested a plan for the day they are willing to try so well see how it goes! Im lucky they are so great here and willing to listen to parents perspective and ideas!
